Chenrezig

Chenrezig(Avalokiteshvara), revered as the “Lord of Universal Compassion,” is a celestial Bodhisattva in Mahayana and Vajrayana Buddhism who personifies the infinite radiance of enlightened love. According to sacred texts, he embodies the perfection of unconditional compassion, holding the wish-fulfilling gem that alleviates all suffering. His luminous white form represents the purity of selfless devotion that embraces every being with mercy. His teachings manifest through the sacred mantra“Om Mani Padme Hum,”which devotees chant to invoke protection, healing, and the awakening of loving-kindness. As the heart of all Buddhas’ compassion, Chenrezig represents the Buddhist truth that boundless empathy liberates the soul.
