Handmade Vajrapani Dharma Statue | Embodiment of Fearless Energy
This Vajrapani Dharma Protecting Bodhisattva Statue measures 14 inches (35.5 cm) in height with a broad 12-inch (30.5 cm) base and weighs 5.25 kg. Handcrafted by skilled Nepali artisans from a copper body, the sculpture is covered with radiant 24K gold gilding and enhanced with detailed acrylic painting and carefully set gemstones. The golden surface highlights the muscular form and sculpted ornaments, while the painted features and gemstones bring depth to the crown, jewelry, garments, and sacred attributes. Its substantial weight and energetic composition make it suitable for a Buddhist altar, meditation room, protector shrine, or collection of Himalayan sacred art.
Vajrapani is portrayed in a powerful wrathful form with a dynamic standing posture. His raised right hand holds a vajra, the principal attribute from which his name Holder of the Vajra is derived, while his left hand forms a forceful gesture of subjugation. His bulging eyes, bared fangs, and upward-flowing hair express fierce enlightened energy rather than ordinary anger. Adorned with elaborate ornaments and surrounded by a flame-like aureole, he stands firmly upon a lotus base. As the bodhisattva who embodies the enlightened power of the Buddhas, Vajrapani represents the strength needed to confront obstacles, overcome inner afflictions, and protect the path of Dharma practice.
